Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination: Objective Type (Qualifying in nature).

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination Pattern
The Prelims exam is qualifying. Candidates must score at least 30% to avoid disqualification. The marks obtained here are not counted for the final merit list.

- Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Correction, Synonyms/Antonyms, Comprehension (Qualifying only).
Mains Paper II (General Studies):
- General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (10th/12th Level).
- Indian History: Ancient, Medieval, Modern India.
- Indian Geography: Physical, Social, Economic Geography.
- Civics/Polity: Constitution, Governance, Political System.

Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates selected from Mains (6 times the vacancies) will appear for PET. This stage is qualifying in nature; no marks are awarded.
