The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the exam pattern details for the Assistant Town Planner Recruitment for 2026. Selection Process
The selection process for MPPSC Assistant Town Planner involves two main stages:
- OMR Based Written Examination which will be objective type questions.
- Personal Interview for candidates who qualified in the written examination.

Interview & Qualifying Marks
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their performance in the written exam and 3 times the number of vacancies will be selected for it. The interview carries a weightage of 100 Marks. To qualify, candidates must secure the following minimum percentage marks:

Based on standard MPPSC technical exams, the paper is typically divided into two parts:
- Part A: General Knowledge of Madhya Pradesh, National & International Current Affairs, and ICT.
- Part B: Subject Specific such as Town Planning, Urban Development, Architecture, Transportation Planning, etc.. which all will be related to post.
